I’m particularly fond of artwork that brings the internet into the gallery in a physical way. This hand-cranked wooden automaton entitled “Andrew Meyer (Don’t Tase Me Bro)” is by Jon Haddock.

  1. Actually it was built in March 2008, fairly in sync with that viral video, thereby contributing to public response in a whole new grotesque way. Too old news now.

  2. “I’m particularly fond of artwork that brings the internet into the gallery in a physical way.”

What has this to do with the internet? Guys, Meyer was tased *in real life*.

    1. I think this trivialises a serious event. Done in poor taste. Must all news now be caricatured in order to reach the masses?
