Clothes dryer chicken coop

Saw a piece on the news last night about the increase in urban chicken coops. Here’s one quick n’ dirty way of creating a coop for your birds. Just make sure some wiseguy doesn’t plug it in to see if it still works.

  1. reminds me of the pigeon coop that my uncle built from the discarded super structure of a fishing boat back in the 80s.

  2. The best chicken coops for total volume are old VW busses. A little black spraypaint on the roost end, nice doors for cleanout and a feed storage area. All self contained, predator proof and water proof.

  3. 1 (3 pound) whole chicken, cut into parts
    3/4 cup melted butter
    2 cups crushed saltine crackers

Tumble on high for 1 hour.
