Minimalist tilt-activated lamp

I really like this simple accent lamp by designer Richard Lawson. It lights up when placed in the upright position. Consisting of just a couple of LEDs, a tilt switch, and a 9V battery clip encased in a block of tinted resin, it’d be an easy re-make.

  1. Odd that they don’t have any photographs of the actual product, but are offering it for sale.

(Yes, I’m claiming that the image is computer generated and not a photo.)

  2. That’s exactly what all of us have done since ever: a battery and a (LED) lamp. Except that today all of us would use rechargeable batteries !
