      In that the costume is debilitating as it makes its difficult to talk, breathe and pick stuff up.

    I’m the dad who made the costume. The acetate leaves are not tightly sealed when they come together at the top so there was plenty of ventilation. And she did have a hand hole for the all important task of getting candy, but this shot was taken just before we carved it. Check my Flickr set and you’ll see she did just fine, candy-wise!
