DIY bellows to protect your CNC leadscrews

Keeping dust and metal shavings out of your CNC machine is vital to it’s proper operation, and what better way to do so then with some homemade bellows? In this video (from way back in 2007!), iXen Yeo explains how to cut and fold your own bellows to make a leadscrew cover for your Sherline mill. The provided templates were designed to fit a Sherline mill, however they should be easy to modify to work with a different machine. [via hackerspaces soup]
