I am excited to learn more about PMC. It’s pretty amazing that you can take this clay and make such amazing and rich-looking jewelry pieces from it. This book looks like it would be perfect for beginners – – how great that it has an instructional DVD!

  11. Emily says:

I totally don’t want this so I can be a better cosplayer… But seriously, knowing how to make custom pieces to go with my sewing or crochet projects would be pretty cool.

  12. planetjune says:

I love polymer clay and I’ve been wanting to try PMC for ages, but I’m too scared of messing it up (PMC is expensive, so it’s a serious consideration!) – this book is exactly what I need to give me the confidence to experiment with metal clay.

    This book looks awesome!
I help to run a hackerspace in Sydney, Australia, and many of our members bring their kids along to learn about science and engineering. This book would be a great way to introduce kids to science, craft and making beautiful things :) And I’m pretty sure many of our parents will be “supervising” a lot ;)

I would love to win a copy of this book because I’m allergic to a lot of different metals (except copper and bronze#, so it makes finding jewelry really hard and expensive. :#

I’ve been dabbling in metal clay since it became available in the US, but have hit a wall… many failed (less than acceptable, really) projects and many dollars later, I sure could use some sound advice in honing my metal clay skills.
Books I’ve found so far are often too simplistic. Sherri’s previous works have been a great help to me and I’d love to get this one to further my knowledge on this fascinating subject!
    Thanks!

  40. Zadstyx says:

I took an intro workshop several years ago and really enjoyed playing with the silver PMC. I look forward to trying it again now that there are several versions and forms of the silver product. In addition to copper and bronze I heard precious metals such as gold (!) are also available. The instructional DVD is a nice addition.
