Between the Lines has an intriguing post about finding leather scraps in plain sight to use for sewing projects, but I wasn’t quite sure how to start using it until I noticed her latest how-to, this denim and leather bag tutorial. I love the sturdy scruffiness of the bag; I often shy away from fabric bags because they never seem to last too long, but this one seems like it would really hold up through a lot of use!

Once I read “denim and leather,” I knew this had to be //between the lines//. I love the simplicity of this bag!
