DIY flying shoes in French sneaker advert

French brand Faiyue is advertising their shoes with this stylized video portraying a make-your-own flying shoes kit. Expect cameos from hobby glue, an oscilloscope, and more. It portrays making as very hip, in a music video kind of way. [via Fashioning Technology]

Hah. If it was that easy, I’d never touch the ground again!

Nice! I ordered two pairs! I can’t wait to see the looks on my co-worker’s faces.

I’m just back from Shanghai, and I feel a little bit confused about this post. Feiyue is a Chinese brand, Beckys links in her post to a french copycat firm selling the same shoes twice the price they really worth. Not very ethical in my opinion. BTW, vid’s great.

Hm, looks like the rights to the brand were purchased by a frenchman in 2006: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feiyue
