The Rainbow Project

The one good thing that’s come out of the disaster in Japan is the wonderful and creative relief efforts people are launching all over the world. (See Lish’s post, Crafters Come Together for Japan Relief Efforts.) I really like the Rainbow Project as well. The idea is simple: “By uploading your own photograph of a rainbow and making a donation, you will connect with communities around the world. Each photograph that is uploaded will become part of unified rainbow and as we go along, these images will be collaged together, forming one harmonious rainbow that represents cosmic solidarity.” I particularly like the drawn rainbows and the rainbow eyeshadow image! I’d love to see more crafty rainbows (cake! scarves! felt!).
