You know those wire-actuated sky cameras they use to capture aerial footage of sporting events in large stadiums? Turns out that type of motion-control platform is called a “wirebot,” and our fabulous guest author Riley Porter has just posted a very cool Arduino-based build of a small scale wirebot motion control platform on a PVC frame. It’s today’s feature over on the Make: Arduino page. [Thanks, Riley!]

I’m no geometry wiz, but it seems like your coordinates are off of the triangle’s center by about 4 inches.
    V1 would be at (-12, -8, 12)
    V2 would be at (12, -8, 12)
    V3 would be at (0, 16, 12)

    Am I wrong?
I’m assuming the program handles the non-equilateral triangle.

I should also say: This is an awesome project. I love it!

This is great. I would love to hook up a little paint bucket with a little hole in it and make drip art or something like that. If you hook up an LED to it you may be able to do long exposure drawings with it too!
