If you ask me, Tara Fey owes her mom a BIG Mother’s Day gift this year! The Wisconsin teen had a custom-made prom dress made out of Starburst wrapper chains, a custom clutch, custom shoes, AND a vest for her date to wear! Her mom has been making the chains for six years, getting help from wrapper donations from friends and family. Check out That’s Nerdalicious! for a video from the local news channel for close-ups of the handiwork.
I folded Starburst chains in high school, but I got about as far as a bracelet. How many of you used to fold candy wrappers like this (or still do)?
