The Knot Zoo

Old but very interesting page from Canadian Robert Scharein, programmer of the visualization software KnotPlot. The knots are organized by the number of crossings, and can be clicked on to display rotatable 3D models. [via Maxwell’s Demon]

  1. Glad to see this covered.  This was a wonderful resource back when I took a class on Knot Theory.  For those interested in Knots (and various mathematical properties of them), http://katlas.math.toronto.edu/wiki/Main_Page is a great page as well.
