Back in January, I posted about Sonya Phillips’ “Ordinary Objects,” the everyday objects she transforms by knitting into them. When Sonya tweeted that she would be at Bay Area Maker Faire, I immediately thought how fun it would be to have her knit into one of our iconic Maker Faire badges. I was thrilled to finally meet her at the Craft booth, and we quickly scavenged up a spare badge for her to use for her project. She’s just posted the results, and I love it! From her tweet, “The newest Ordinary Object, … confirming that the Maker Faire is my happy place.” Indeed!
