When I was at the Midwest Craft Caucus, I got to make my very own artist trading card for the very first time. Using a photocopier transfer, I got a little background from the Blick Art Supplies folks on this trend. I’m wondering – if artists make trading cards, do crafters? How should I make my own?

I love making ATCs. Yes crafters making them! I have seen then quilted, woven, beaded even one made of clay. I think the sky is the limit as long as they are 3 1/2 by 2 1/2. Beware they are addictive.
They’re great fun! I’ve been making ATCs incorporating paper quilling, paper sculpture, even using crepe paper to make semi-flat crafty ATC cards!
I, too, love the ATCs! I recently made a tutorial on the crafty biz cards I made out of scrap fabric to advertise my thesis research… http://craftbookproject.com/?p=78
