This brilliant how-to from Phil Hansen of Phil in the Whaaat? is an insanely simple way to turn a banana in to a piece of art. Of course, it’s a piece of art that will rot before your eyes, but that’s kind of the cool part, right? Do yourself a favor and check out Phil’s other rad videos and tutorials, like how to make a cardboard beard, how to paint with Coke, and how to print images on toilet paper. His web shows are hilarious (dancing skeleton FTW), and his projects have a perfect blend of humor and simplicity. I also love that his prize for featuring a user-submitted photo on his web show is a slice of handmade soap that features his logo and that he makes himself. [via Treehugger]
