Entering its 6th year, A Better World By Design is returning to the RISD and Brown Campuses in Providence, RI Sept. 27-29 (the week after World Maker Faire New York). A Better World By Design was founded by–and is run to this day by–Brown and RISD students.
There’s plenty of great stuff on the 2013 conference schedule, but here are a few maker-centered events that the organizers shared with us:
- Lukas Winklerprins, a Brown Student and one of the leaders of the STEAM initiative at Brown and RISD will be leading a Lego Prototyping workshop.
- MAKEwithMOTO will be holding a three-part hackathon during the conference.
- Greg Nemes, a recent RISD graduate, will be hosting a physical computing workshop.
