You know how some people have a drawer full of orphaned socks? For me, it’s pillowcases. I’m forever finding holes, losing one in a matched set, or simply running out of them. So, when I saw this fun custom pillowcase tutorial from Corinne’s Thread on The Purl Bee, I got really, really excited.
I’m not sure how, during my years of living with a chronic pillowcase deficit, it never occurred to me that I should just make some new ones. (Alas, it didn’t.) But, I have now seen the light!
Ready to start sewing? Check out the full how-to here.
I found some nice pillowcases that can be customized to fit your children. I put my children’s names on their pillows so that they wouldn’t fight over them. The names also help me remember which of my children is which, so its a win win.
