Lately I have been working with several whiskey companies, and I have been using wooden barrels to create many things such as bars and chairs. I was inspired to create a bucket, based on some simplified techniques used in the making of a barrel. Here, I make an 8-gallon bucket using 1″ pine boards. I keep the design and construction simple by making the bucket straight sided — it may look tapered on camera but it does have straight sides. Thank you, and please enjoy!
Tools:
- Table saw
- Chop saw
- Welder
- Grinder
- Torch
Materials:
- Pine wood
- Steel straps
- Bolts
What’s the name of the guy who made this?
