Engadget Expand: Noke, A Bluetooth Padlock

If you wanted to let someone else access your padlock, you would typically have to physically hand them a key. Keys get lost, and you don’t necessarily always have the right opportunity to pass off a key to someone. Noke allows you to give someone access with the push of a button on your smartphone. Not only can you pass them access, you can revoke their access, or specify limitations such as times that they have access.

Senior Editor for Make: I get ridiculously excited seeing people make things. I just want to revel in the creativity of the masses! My favorite thing in the world is sharing the hard work of a maker.

I'd always love to hear about what you're making, so send me an email any time at caleb@make.co
