From now until Christmas, the statues in Portland, Oregon’s Pioneer Courthouse Square will be decked out in festive holiday regalia made by local fiber artists.

Every Thursday the artists will return to change the statues into new outfits, so there will plenty of wooly action to see over the next 6 weeks!

Most importantly, the generous distribution of garments for this project isn’t just limited to statues. Transition Projects, an organization that helps people move from homelessness to housing, will be accepting donations to their warm clothing drive at several locations in Portland.
