Take your over sized, ill fitting shirts and tweak them into a top you would actually wear. If you’ve got a few minutes and a sewing machine, then you can try this easy fix to get a better fit.
I have a drawer full of these, usually freely obtained shirts, which almost always end up being worn as pajamas, but with this little hack I’m excited to make them into something I would actually wear in public.
This tutorial comes from Merrick of Merrick’s Art. She’s also made a cute sailboat stencil to go along with her newly fitted blank shirt. Get the sewing tutorial here, and the sailboat stencil post here.
