Cutting, Drilling, Sanding, and Printing with Dremel at Maker Faire

dremel post

powered by dremelWith a full range of tools and projects for all attendees to test out, the Dremel booth at this year’s Bay Area Maker Faire was non-stop action. Groups of people gathered to build their own derby cars, using multiple Dremel machines to rough-cut blocks of wood, drill holes, sand the edges, and attach the 3D-printed wheels. And others used the Dremel rotary tools to make their own custom-engraved leather wristbands.

With the Dremel Moto Saw, Workstation, Micro Rotary Tool, and Idea Builder on hand, there wasn’t a moment that this booth was not running at full speed.

Make: community editor Caleb Kraft stopped by the Dremel booth to catch up with Tim Turbett, Director of Brand Marketing, to hear about what they were showing off and finding at the event this year.
