Xyron Design Runner review

Pushprint
Wan has a review of this little printer that prints as you move it over things, it wants to be hacked, not sure if it prints on people – “Xyron Design Runner lets you print ANYWHERE…check out the FirstLook, FirstUse, and the video. The only thing we need is for them to upgrade the reader to take standard SD cards so users can upload their own designs.”Link.

This device was developed by the company at this link:

They hoped to find a developer who could make a Bluetooth-enabled portable printer for mobile devices that could print on any surface. One example applicaton was for a barcode printer or shipping label printer that would generate the label from a palmtop device, communicating wirelessly to the printer.

Let’s not forget the handheld scanner functionality. That would be ridiculously awesome.
