Help Crowdfund an Electronics Reference PCB

This is neat. It’s a credit-card sized printed circuit board (PCB) designed by former MIT hacker Star Simpson for Octopart, the online search engine for electronic parts.

The front is screen printed with a guide to reading resistor color bands, and apparently they used eight colors during the screen printing process–impressive for a PCB! The back consists of a selection of to-scale footprints of common surface mount packages.

Octoport is selling the cards via crowd funding site Crowd Supply, so of you can use one of these cards, here’s your chance to get one.
