    anyone know of any good programs for recording streaming audio on linux? I wanted to record it the stream from our local radio station to listen later, but I don’t know of any utilities to do it.

    Is there any gizmo that will block out, balance or in some way counter balance the deep bass sounds and vibrations of boom boxes in automobiles. I

    Audacity-> mult-platform audio editor and recorder. Records streams just fine!

    Just do not record hours and hours on end. Save once and awhile…
