Projects with Metal That Melts In Hot Water…

Liquid Metal Fun with meltable metals….Field’s Metal melts at 144 degrees F. Perfect for easy toymaking or prototyping. Better yet, break off the end of a spoon, and use a drop of Fields Metal to solder it back together. When your friend uses the spoon to stir his coffee and sees the end fall off, perhaps he will decide to cut back on the caffeine. Thanks flyboy! Link.

I want to be able to make fishing sinkers out of a material that is enviromentally sound. I have cast sinker moulds from all parts of the world, also melting pots so I would like to utilise them. Any sugestions would be much appreciated. Thanks Paul.
