The Maker Faire kicked off this morning here in the town square in the centre of Trondheim, Norway, with over 70 projects on display. With an estimated 2,500 children coming today from schools all around Trondheim, in addition to the normal visitors you might expect on a Friday morning, it’s going to be a busy day.

Excitement around the faire has been building for weeks, and I talked to  Frode Halvorsen, the general manager ofTrondheim Makers and one of the organizers of faire, about their advertising campaign for the faire—a bus stop that lets you play Pac-Man
