Qucs is an integrated circuit simulator which means you are able to setup a circuit with a graphical user interface (GUI) and simulate the large-signal, small-signal and noise behaviour of the circuit. After that simulation has finished you can view the simulation results on a presentation page or window. The software aims to support all kinds of circuit simulation types, e.g. DC, AC, S-parameter, Harmonic Balance analysis, noise analysis, etc. Link.

Wow it looks like a great alternative to ADS can’t wait to try it out at home. For the small amount we used of ADS, it would have been great to use this in my classes instead of fighting over licenses for that insanely expensive software. Maybe I can finally go back to my first love, designing filters and matching impedances oh baby!
If you want something a little more simple I’ve always loved Circuit maker for just messing around. I guess while we are at it, can anyone else recommend some good EE simulation software that’s fun to play with? micro sims? etc?
