A broken VCR finds some audio (would be interesting to repeat this). The Simpsons as read by WGBH. WFMU’s Station Manager Ken discovers an extra audio track on the Simpsons that describes the visuals for blind people. He even provides a 21 MB, 23 minute MP3 of a recent episode that is surprisingly listenable…Are podcasts of TV show audio tracks next? Handy for all those retro games, over 74,000 in their library- Have you ever rented a game that came with no instructions? Have you ever bought a used game and found out later that the package you received didn’t come with an essential map or answers to copy protection questions required to play the game? I found this cassette, and this is the result. B Side looks awesome. All in all, 2 hours of work and thinking, for a very simple, but I think rather cool mod for my old usb stick. Might be a fun project to add an iPod Shuffle to a tape adaptor.
