Here’s what seems to be a new portal from Sony for your PSP. It’s called “Test Page – Replace once site is confirmed working” so it doesn’t seem final- there are videos, wallpapers and a few other things to play around with- the links Sony has for news, tech and more are a bit bizarre, but perhaps that’s going to change. I still haven’t updated to the 2.0 firmware, but you can view it via a normal web browser. Link.

Stella188 Remember, you can’t use this if you go 2.0! Stella PSP v0.1- This is a port of the Stella Atari 2600 emulator to the PSP. Original code by Bradford W. Mott, Stephen Anthony and Jeff Miller and many others. This PSP port was made by Alysa Habraken (aka Aenea). It’s not very optimized and not all games run or at full speed. Some have a little flickering, but this will be resolved in upcoming versions. Roms must have a .a26 extension and also they go in the ms0:/Stella/Roms. [via] Link.

Psp2-1 Some PSP games check to see if the PSP has the latest firmware, since we don’t want to update to 2.0 and lose the ability to run games and applications we make, here’s a tool that does a tricksie on the PSP game- This is described as the First Firmware Trick for Games that need Firmware 1.52 to run on your PSP and Cant Run UPDATER 1.52 or 2.0. The System thinks it’s a PSP v1.52 ,v1.0 ,v2.0 even if its a v1.5 or 1.0. Link.
