David Mellis, of Arduino fame, wrote in to share this radio that he built with Dana Gordon. Noting that most personal fabrication projects seem to be aimed at niche markets, they designed a radio that could be enjoyed by anyone.

FlexibleLove furniture, such as FlexibleLove Earth 16, are made from recycled paper and recycled wood waste, and are produced using pre-existing manufacturing processes in order to reduce their overall impact on the environment.

Shown above is actually an (absurdly overpriced) mat available from Branch, but designer Inghua Ting also makes permanent-install tiles based on the same idea. Clever idea, but will it really hold up over the years? Would be an easy remake. [via Dornob]

Providence-based Tellart outfitted ten chairs with GPS trackers. The chairs were left on the curb for people to pick up. After people took the chairs home, the sponsor of this project (Blu Dot) tracked their new owners down down and interviewed them.
