The BeagleBoard BeagleBone has just arrived in the Maker Shed in limited quantities. It’s a low cost, high-expansion, hardware-hacker focused BeagleBoard for people that love embedded Linux systems. Basically a bare bones BeagleBoard, it can run all by itself or act as a USB or Ethernet connected expansion for your current computer or BeagleBoard.

Can you run Android 4 .0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on an N900? Why, yes you can. Congratulations to Drunkdebugger and crew for cranking out a preX2-alpha release video. It still has a way to go, but it definitely has that little-handset-that-could thing going for it.

What a difference a couple of years make. Back in 2009, you had to scrounge together a bunch of lenses and glue them to a jar lid if you wanted a smartphone lens carousel. Nowadays you’ve got options.
