Printer Cable Bracelet

Craft & Design

I find something really conceptually engaging about this charming printer cable bracelet when I think of all the images and text that might have been transmitted through these colorful wires. Made by jeweler and future nurse practitioner Ann Kabza of The Littlest Big Spoon, the bracelet consists of plastic-coated wires upcycled from a printer cable that are shrewdly secured by silver-toned clasps at either end.

Are these cables coated in lead? I know that lots of wiring is, i.e Christmas tree lights, telephone cords, vinyl coated wires are as well. Not sure if these fall into that catagory.
