Raspberry Pi 3, Model B
By Alasdair Allan / Feb 29, 2016
The Raspberry Pi 3, Model B, is the latest single board computer from the Raspberry Pi Foundation. It is the first to be 64-bit, and the first with both onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Running Raspbian Linux, the Foundation’s own release of the Linux operating system, the board is fast enough to replace a standard desktop PC for most people, most of the time. Running in headless mode the board is well suited to being used as part of an Internet of Things project, or being the hub of a sensor network.
