Nvidia’s Jetson boards bring parallel processing for deep neural networks for visual recognition and other AI tasks. The TX2 is the latest board in that line. It trains and works faster, recognizing objects in an image in mere milliseconds. Despite its horsepower, the TX2 core runs on low wattage, suitable for battery-powered robots.

The TX2 comes mounted on a mini-computer-sized developer board with a camera and other goodies. Pop the module off the board to have a minimal-sized core for your custom gizmo, or keep it on the developer board to use it as a single-board computer.
