Our friend, doe-c-doe has done it again. Her latest embroidery brilliance is in the form of a large embroidered deer head that hangs above her mantle. She writes that, “he’s about 36″ tall & 29″ wide and is backed with 1/2″ foam core.”
Jessy made an Instructable for using embroidery hoops to frame photographs. Since it involves piercing the photo, she scanned the originals and printed out new ones on photo paper.

I’ve been watching Jessie of Quinn Knits a Twisted Yarn as she’s worked on a series of standing dolls over the last couple of months. These two most recent ones have me completely charmed. I love the felt hat on the elephant, and the yo-yo on the female doll adds just the right touch.
