Art Hack Day begins tonight, so if you’re in NYC and looking for something to do, come out and see a few dozen art-hacker projects that were all made over the last two days by over 50 participants.

This past Saturday, the Exploratorium’s Tinkering Studio once again partnered with MAKE magazine to host 2012’s first Open MAKE session, Toys, which featured hands-on activities, demonstrations, and guest artists and makers, many of whom were interviewed live by MAKE publisher Dale Dougherty.
Our pal Bilal Ghalib and Alex Hornstein have embarked on a fun, educational road trip. They’ve packed a Prius with 3D printers, dubbed it the Pocket Factory, and are traveling around the country exposing people to 3D printing and the potential of desktop manufacturing.
