Another find from last Friday’s downtown Phoenix art walk, these hand-felted hearts by Amy Long have unexpected details like tiny horseshoes or fire sprinkler heads. Craftster user Krissykat made herself a funny little Yip-Yip alien toy! He’s completely needle-felted, with yarn-wrapped pipecleaner antennae. For those of you unfamiliar with (or too young to remember) the Yip-Yip aliens, they were pretty much the funniest Muppets to ever grace Sesame Street (see YouTube clip below). Link.
