Brilliantly Colored Feltwork

The color combinations of these felted brooches remind me of semi-precious stones, watercolor paintings, and out-of-focus abstract photography. The crafter, Tastykaeru (Edinburgh, Scotland), does lots of felting work with brilliantly colored natural fibers, like the piece below, which incorporates linen, silk, abaca tissue, wool, and cotton.
