Chica Chandelier
Here’s your chance to own a piece of some beautiful crafty handmade art by Crafty Chica’s Kathy Cano Murillo and her husband Patrick Murillo. Their exhibit, La Cas Murillo, at The Heard Museum in Arizona is ending. To celebrate, they are having an auction of the goods to benefit Valle del Sol. The auction event takes place Friday, August 21 from 5:30 to 9pm at The Heard Museum (2301 N. Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ). There will be dancers to kick off the event, a live band. Plus Kathy and Patrick will be giving out 200 glittered auction paddles, and every person who bids gets a free jar of Crafty Chica Glitter! Pictured above is a beaded chandelier Kathy embellished with over 1,000 beads and below is a photo of Frida’s pink dinette set. You can see the items for auction and their reserve prices online.
Kathy writes:

Patrick and I spent many hours handcrafting over 500 items for this exhibit. It breaks my heart that after 11 months it is time to take it all down. But what makes me smile is knowing some of these pieces (most of them, my FAVORITE pieces!) will go to happy, artful homes! Whatever is leftover we are going to us in our own house to truly make the dream house we’ve always wanted – full of life and gobs of glitter!
