Over at Steampunk Workshop, Jake pays a visit to the home of Bruce and Melanie Rosenbaum, in Sharon, Mass. Bruce and Melanie run ModVic, a Victorian home restoration company. They’ve also embraced the steampunk aesthetic and do steampunk mods, as they’ve done in their own amazing home, seen here.

Sure the items they have are ‘nice’? But seriously, some quite UN-Victorian floorboards, UN-Victorian yellow walls, no architraves no ceiling artwork, no artwork.
Fooey, this is why steam-punk usually sucks.
This is NOT one of their Victorian restorations. This is their own home and it’s done in a steampunk style, which, as I’m sure you know, is only inspired by things Victorian. It’s fantasy, so they’re free to do whatever they like, which is how they ended up with all of these, as you say, “nice” items.
