In it, we’ll feature the “water-to-wine cooler” project, a vino dispensing device created by drink makers Robert Kaye and Pierre Michael of Party Robotics that seems to turn water into wine without the aid of divine intervention. We blogged about it here.

Yo, Bartendro!

Fascinated by fluid dynamics and automated alcoholic beverages, today the duo launched a Kickstarter campaign for Bartendro. Bartendro is a cocktail dispensing robot that uses peristaltic pumps and CNC milled parts that Robert and Pierre say makes cocktail and after cocktail within one mililiter of accuracy.

If you happen to be in the San Francisco Bay Area tonight and don’t mind taking a gamble, check out BarBot in San Francisco. BarBot is an annual festival of cocktail-making robot culture. Bartendro will be there along with a robot army of shaking and stirring mixologists. Advanced tickets are sold out, but there may be tickets available at the door. Do robots make better drinks than humans? If you go to the event please let me know.
