Here’s an interesting idea from Kristi at Addicted 2 Decorating: Make a keychain with pieces of wood painted in the colors of your walls and furniture. It would be so handy to have if you’re out somewhere and you see curtains, or a nice chair – you’ll be able to tell if it would clash horribly with your walls or other furniture. And even if you’re not a big shopper, the keychain might serve as a sort of adult security blanket – a little piece of home that you carry with you.
