I know plenty of people who like to knit while they watch a movie, but artist Miho Yata likes to make movies when she knits, which she calls “Yatamimation.” Film Muffler, her most recent production, depicts a charming love story in the style of an old-timey silent film, complete with piano music. The film is actually made from long knitted mufflers that the artist turned into a film using stop motion animation.
