Here’s how to prepare recycled green tea leaves & a whole bunch of things to do with old tea leaves, my favorite… – “Pillows – Although it sounds weird at first, dried green tea leaves are an excellent option for an organic pillow. Not only soft when used in bulk, the faint aroma of the leaves is also a natural sleep enhancer. A pillow-sized mass of tea leaves will take you a while to collect, but, once you do, air out the pillow outside once a week to avoid mustiness.” [via] – Link.

As the owner of tea factory, I can tell you that tea leave pillow is not good for your health.
Why is that?
Tea leave are just like any leave from any plants, when they are dried, the leave will break easily into small pieces and become very dusty. And if you use the pillow to lay your head on it, you will inhale the dust from the tea leave. Inhale dust is not healthy to your respiration system.
Dried tea leave is good to absorb odor from the air. Chinese put dried tea leave in a coffin to absorb oder and moisure in coffins.
Put used tea leave in any tall container and leave it in your car or your room.
