Upcycling Book Jackets

Paper Crafts

Today was my mom’s last day of teaching after 42 years. Since she’s been her school’s library lady for close to 30 years, the students took the old book jackets she saved from damaged books and turned them into quilt squares, decorative paper chains, pinwheels and even mini paper-folded books. Not a bad idea for some favorite reads!

These children have a whirlwind of creativity! Many products are made like this, and they sure make memorable and aesthetically pleasing pieces of art. Would love to see more pictures of the kid’s projects!
