Antennas 101 will cover the theory, design and practical construction of antennas for a variety of applications - wifi, FM and TV broadcasting and more. A portion of this 3 hour workshop will be devoted to the hands-on building and tuning of an FM broadcast antenna. Stephen Dunifer founded Free Radio Berkeley im 1993 as a free speech statement and a means to break the corporate stranglehold on the free expression of news, information, cultural diversity and artistic creativity. Am activist and community organizer for all his adult life, he continues to work for media and grassroots democracy. He is a self-taught electronics and broadcast engineer and lives in Oakland, California.
