Took a look at the How To on copying a vinyl record and I’ve got to say that if you are trying to do this then make sure to put both the silicone and the plastic under vacuum (heed the mfg. spec at all times) to remove all bubbles from the solution prior to pouring. It’s a good idea to also put the curing part under pressure to ensure a perfect copy of the surface w/o inclusions. Just my $0.02.
