Dixie cup dodecahedron

This project (posted over a year ago), is old news by interweb standards, but I’d never seen it. And the results are gorgeous. I so want to make one and hang it from the clearstory in my office (though I think my ceiling fan might have something to say about that).

  1. A neighborhood near me uses these for Christmas decorations every year.

They use colored semi-clear plastic cups, and poke a miniature Christmas light through the bottom of each cup.

Then they hang the huge glowing ornaments from trees all over the neighborhood.
