I saw your posting about bikes that make noise, and thought I’d draw your attention to the Soundcycles exhibition at InterAccess in Toronto right now. Two bike projects that make noise! The Warbike makes music from WiFi networks, details here and a radio interview about it here. The Soundbike laughs as you pedal. Both free for the pedalling until December 1.

Here’s a project for somebody. A box on a bike that consists of a cellphone and a megaphone. Print the cellphone number on the side. Cycle to your nearest park or speaker’s corner and let people from all over the world have their say.
This could be enhanced by using a Mic to create the feedback loop form the crowd. Or using something like a laptop, wifi, video and skype to have a video feedback loop.
Honestly I don’t see why this made make… they don’t actually show you how to build the noisemaker! Ugh Torontonians!
